Mr. Boutelle of Waterville has leave of absence after today during the remainder of the Session.

Petition of John Taber 2d. for change of name was read and referred to the Committee on change of Names.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed -

Bill - to incorporate the York Manufacturing Company - which was passed to be enacted - sent up for concurrence.

The same Committee also report as truly engrossed -

Resolve - additional respecting the Canada Road - which was finally passed - sent up for concurrence -

Report - on Petition of Samuel Honraus [?] came from the Senate accepted as amended giving the Petitioner leave to bring in a bill - and the House adopt the amendment of the Senate and accept the report - as thus amended in concurrence.

Bill - to divide the town of Berwick and to incorporate the Easterly part thereof &c - was taken up and it was moved to refer the same to the next Legislature - and the question thereupon was taken by yeas and nays as follows Yeas 45. Nays 61 - and the Bill was then ordered to lie on the table.
