The Secretary of State will lay before you a copy of a communication from William King the Agent appointed in pursuance of the Resolves for this purpose to inquire into and ascertain from the Government of Massachusetts, why the third part of the amount received from the United States on account of the claim for services of Militia during the last war, with Great, has not all be paid over to the Treasurer of this State and also a copy of Mr. King's correspondence with the governor of Massachusetts and of the report of the Executive Council of that commonwealth in relation to the Subject.
