The petition of certain inhabitants of Whiting to be annexed to Machias Port was read and referred to the joint standing committee on the division of towns. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred. Mr Keith, from the committee on State Roads to whom was referred so much of the Governour's message as relates to State roads and certain documents relating to the Matinawock road, made a report accompanying which were certain Resolves, which report was read and accepted; and said Resolves were read once, and Monday next at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, assigned for a second reading.
