On motion of Mr Thayer, ordered, that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire what alterations are necessary, if any in the law relating to liens. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Davee, ordered, that a message be sent to the House of Representatives proposing a Convention of both Branches of the Legislature in the Representatives Chamber, tomorrow, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon for the purpose of coming to a choice of a Treasurer of State; which message was delivered by the Secretary.
