Senate recede from their vote passing said Resolve to be engrossed, and concur the House in said recommitment.

Mr Sweat, from the committee on State Lands, made a report, asking leave to be discharged from the further consideration of the petition of Samuel Holden, and that the same be referred to the committee on claims, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

The same gentleman, from the same committee, reported on the petition of Edward Chase, that the prayer of said petition ought not to be granted, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

The same Gentleman, from the same committee, to whom was referred a Resolve in favour of Portland and Westbrook, reported that said Resolve ought not to pass, read and accepted, and said Resolve accordingly refused a passage. Sent down for concurrence.

Mr Merrill, from the committee on the Division of towns, reported an order of notice on the petition of Cornelius Thompson, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.
