Bill for the destruction of Bears and Wolves was read a second time and committed to Messrs Burnham, Sweat, and Merrill.
Mr Burnham from the select committee to whom was committee, an act to prohibit the use of narrow rimmed wheels on the Mattanawcook road, reported the same as taken into a new draft, which was adopted and laid on the table.
The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly copied from the originals. Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Bangor Commercial Banks. Bill to incorporate the town of Milton; Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Eastport Academy and the same were severally passed to be enacted.
