Message from the Governor
To the Senate and the House of Representatives. I have received from his Excellency the Governor of Massachusetts the accompanying copies of a Report, Preamble and Resolves adopted by the General Court of that Commonwealth expressing its sentiments in reference to the contested line of the North Eastern Boundary of the United States, the opinion and recommendation of his Majesty the King of the Netherlands thereon, and the rights of Massachusetts and Maine which would be affected by adopting that recommendation. A copy of the Report of Gorham Parks, the Agent appointed to communicate to the Government of Massachusetts the Resolves of this Legislature relating to that subject, is also herewith transmitted
