On Motion of Mr Swett - Ordered that the Committee on Interior Fisheries be instructed to inquire into the expediency of amending an Act for the preservation of Fish in Penobscot River and Bay and the several streams emptying into the same and the several acts additional thereto, so as to make it lawful to take Fish in any of said waters on Saturday in each week between the 20th. day of April and the 12th day of July annually - also to inquire into the expediency of further amending said Acts so that the duties of Fishwardens shall be limited and confined to the towns or districts in which they are appointed sent up for concurrence -
