The Speaker announced the appointment of Monitors as follows Division No. one Mr. Crane of Eddington " " " two " Alden of Northport " " " three " Hobart of Edmunds " " " Four " Johnson of Cornish
The Committee appointed to contract with some suitable person to assist the Clerk of this House in the discharge of the duties of his office reported that they had attended to the services assigned them and engaged Reuben S. Prescott of Bangor at a rate not exceeding two Dollars per day which was read and accepted Mr. Prescott being present entered upon the duties accordingly
On Motion of Mr. Clapp of Aurora Ordered that Messrs.
