Ordered that Messrs. Bronson of Anson, Lake of Bucksport and Moore of Durham be a committee with such as the Senate may join to revise the several acts passed by the Legislature of this State granting and describing the power of Justices of the Peace in civil and criminal cases with leave to report by bill or otherwise read and passed sent up for concurrence.
 
  
On motion of Mr. O'Brien of Machias, Ordered that Messrs. O'Brien of Machias Hutchings of Penobscot and Spaulding of Norridgewock be a committee with such as the Senate may join to consider the expediency of establishing by law more equal salaries for the Justices of the Peace of the Supreme Judicial Court to take effect after the expiration of the term of the present Chief Justice with leave to report by bill or otherwise. Read and passed sent up for concurrence.
