254 27th Feby 1833 giving remedies on Judgments rendered by county Commissioners respecting the mode of levying Executions against towns and plantations, as to allowing persons paying their proportion of sums ordered to be collected on such executions & warrants, to hold their property free from such executions & warrants, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise, and the House concurred & joined on their part Messsrs. Hinkley of Bluehill, Hall of Waterboro and Goring of Bradford.- sent up.
Remonstrance of Thomas Eustis 2d & others against the petition of James Shaw & others _______ of Proprietors of Turner Center Bridge _______ of John Blake and others against the petition of Sarson Chase & others - were read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals - sent up for concurrence.
An order came from the Senate for concurrence instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of repealing an Act passed Feby 7, 1825, exempting from taxation Manufacturing companies of cotton, wool, Iron and steel for a limited time, and all other acts exempting property from taxation within the limits of this State - and the House concurred - sent up.
