An order came from the Senate directing the Secretary of State to notify the Governor that Ezekiel Foster was on the twelfth day of February A.D. 1834 elected by a concurrent vote of both Branches of the Legislature, Major General of the seventh Division of the Militia of this State and that Alvan Bolster was on the twentieth day of February A.D. 1834 elected by a concurrent vote of both Branches of the Legislature Major General of the Sixth Division of the Militia of this State in concurrence with the Senate - sent up.
Bill appropriating a part of the annual Tax of the Skowhegan Bank for the benefit of the St Albans Academy " providing for the appropriation of the annual Tax upon the Skowhegan Bank were severally read a first time and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for second reading.
