Order from the House, directing the Secretary of State to transmit forthwith, to the Town Clerks of the several towns in the County of York, attested copies of a Resolve relating to the building of a Gaol, in the County of York, was read and passed in concurrence.

Order from the House, appointing Messrs Mildram, Moore of Dover, Judkins, Robinson of Bethel, and Bradbury of Saco a Committee with such as the Senate may join, to inquire into the expediency of repealing so much of an act, entitled an act to establish a medical school in this State, passed June 27th 1820? as gives said School one Thousand Dollars annually during the pleasure of the Legislature; with leave to report by Bill or otherwise. Read and passed, and Messrs Knowlton, Tobin and Groton are joined in concurrence.
