purpose of filling the vacancy in the Eighth Senatorial District and propose a convention of the two Houses of the Legislature for that purpose tomorrow at 11 o clock in the Representatives Hall and the Clerk by Message acquainted the Senate therewith

A Message was received from the Senate informing the House that the Senate had so far receded from their former vote proposing a convention of both branches of the Legislature this day at 12 o clock in the Representatives Hall for the purpose of filling the vacancy in the Eighth Senatorial District, as to concur with the House in their proposed convention tomorrow at 11 o clock in the Representatives Hall for that purpose.

Petition of William Hutchins 3d. -of Prudence Foster -of John Goodale -of William Emerson -of Jonathan Perkins -of John Emerson each praying for a change of name were severally read and referred to the Committee on change of names
