Ordered That the joint standing Committee on Manufactures be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so far changing the Act passed February 7th 1825 exempting from taxation for the term of six years all property vested in manufacturing establishments of Cotton, Wool, Iron & Steel as that no manufacturing Company shall hereafter be incorporated, privileged by the like exemption. Sent up for concurrence.
