My dear Sister,
Yours of 18th ult was duly received -- the second letter that I have received since leaving home two months ago. I suppose you think that you are doing well if among the half dozen letter writers with you, you send me a letter once a month. Well I have been very busy since my return and it is very fortunate that I had not many letters to answer
I shall have little more leisure now, and shall be able to answer two [underlined] letters a month should you succeed in writing that number
