This being the day designated by the Constitution of this State for the meeting of the Legislature thereof, the following Gentlemen having been elected by the People, and summoned by the Governor and Council, appeared in the Senate Chamber, to wit,
}First District York Co. Messrs. Alexander McIntin, Nathaniel Clark, Frederick Greene,
}Second District Cumberland Co. Messrs. Josiah Pierce, Tobias Purinton, Eliab Latham, Nathaniel G. Jewett,
}Third District, Lincoln Co. Messrs. Josiah Merrow, John M. Frye Joseph Weeks, Jr. John Spear,
}Fourth District Kennebec Co. Elijah Robinson, Samuel P. Benson, Luther Severance,
}Fifth District Waldo Co. Messrs. Joseph Miller, Josiah Staples.
