Friday Eve'g (sic) heard Mifs.[?] Kellogg, Lubren, & Marrolini in "Riggoletto." Saturday "Eve'g (sic) heard Medoni in "Norma". Casta Diva was rendered beautifully, and all those passages in the latter opera which are so common delighted and charmed me.
 
  
Marrolini lost his voice in "Norma" and for a time it was feared that the house would have to close. But it was finished at last.
