Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire whether any further provisions are necessary to be made in the existing laws in relation to the assessment and collection of taxes - read and passed in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives appointing Messrs. Soule, Bodwell, Sewall, Lake, Scammon, Lennan and Shaw of Orono a Committee with such as the Senate may join to ascertain when the several Committees, of this Legislature will have so accomplished the business before them as to enable said Body to hold two sessions as day - read and passed and Messrs. Jewett, Johnson and Miller are joined in concurrence.
