Bill to establish a Seminary for the purpose of promoting useful learning and the better qualifying of primary School Teachers, Resolve for the endowment of the Maine Teachers Seminary, severally read the second time and recommitted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill to establish the Belfast and Quebec Rail Road Corporation came up from the House further amended.
