Wednesday February 18, 1835 191 Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of altering the law relative to Indian Agents and the settlement of their accounts with the Governor and Council and report by Bill or otherwise, read and passed, in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions to inquire as to the expediency of appropriating townships of land of the purpose of erecting a fund from which our colleges academies and seminaries of learning may at some future day be endowed in conformity with the requisitions of the constitutions - read and passed in concurrence.


Order from the House of Representatives directing the Committee on Claims to take into consideration the claims of Castine against this State for the Support of William James, a foreigner and pauper and report by bill or otherwise - read and passed in concurrence.
