Bill creating the Village of Augusta into a corporation for certain purposes, " to incorporate the Lincoln Benevolent Society, " additional to incorporate the Calais Railway Company (as amended) " to incorporate the Old town Stage Company, Resolve in favor of John Bent, severally read the second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill additional to promote the sale and settlement of Public land (reported by Mr. Fish from the Committee on State Lands) was on motion of Mr. Bartlett, ordered to lie on the table, and that 500 copies of the report and Bill to be printed for the use of the Legislature.
