Bill to incorporate the Anson Bank, on motion of Mr. Jarvis was taken up. The Senate nonconcur the House in refusing said Bill a passage and insist on their vote passing the same to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed Resolve in favor of Argyle plantation, Mr. Merrow moved to postpone the same indefinitely and the question of indefinite postponement, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the negative as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Latham, Mantor, Merrow, Miller, Spear, Staples and Weeks ________ 8 Nays. Messrs. Clark, Fish, Greene, Jarvis, Johnson, Kelsey, McIntire, Pierce, Robinson, Severance and Talbot _______ 11. and the same was finally passed.
