G C Irvin a Sergeant in Co G 6th Me Reg claims to be absent by reason of discharge dated Camp Griffin Va Dec 7 1861. "by reason of Surgeons certificate of disability" signed Hiram Burnham Lt. Col. Comd Reg, health poor.
I have today given G. W. Gray of Penobscot his pass to Augusta and he has agreed to leave for there on Monday.
