90 September 12th We left Alaxandria this morning and marched for Maryland. we come abought 12 miles to day. and camped for the ngiht.
September 13th
Started again this morning at 7 oclock. come by Rockville abought 10 oclock. we come on the same road that we come on last Spring when we went to Harppers Ferry. a battle is going on to day at the town of Fredrick. we come abought 14 miles to day.
