Dear Sir
I take the liberty of addressing you hopeing you will give the subject due consideration
I was made a prisoner on the ever memorable 21st of July 61 and released May 28th 62 and my imprison- ment not yet at an end
My object in writeing to you
is to get you to exert your in- fluence in my behalf. I wish to get transfered and put on some detached duty until such times as I can take
