I sent a New York herald to Mrs Coopersthwait [?] in care of Eben'r [Ebenezer] Trafton 6th An inspection at 8 oclock A.M. Devine service at 5 P.M. 7th Drill twice. I got a letter from Fredrick and Mrs Coopersthwait [?] 8th Co drill A.M. Brigade drill P.M. 9th Wash day. I got a fine gold ring of U B Fox to send home. One letter just arrived from Washington 10th Co drill A.M. Brigade drill P.M. I wrote a letter to Fredrick 11th Co drill A.M.
