In the name of God, amen; on the sixteenth day of July, Anno Domini one thousand seven hun- dred and seventy seven; I Tilley Haggens of Ber- wick in the county of York and State of Massachusetts Bay in New England, Merchant, being aged and infirm of body, but by the goodness of God of sound memory, and knowing I must in a little time go the way of all the Earth, I do therefore make and ordain this to be my last Will & Testament, wherein I recommend my Body to the earth for decent burial at the discretion of my Executors herein after named, and my Soul to God who gave it, hoping for mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord: and to what worldly Estate I have of all and every kind real & per- sonal, I do give and dispose of the same in the following manner, vizt,
