The ^House[above] concurred the Senate in their proposition and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.

On motion, in Senate,

ordered that the committee on the subject of the militia be instructed to enquire into the expedien-cy of taxing the members of any religious sector or demon-stration in this State, exempted by law from the performance of military duty, for the purpose of creating a fund for the payment of pensions to wounded or invalid officers and soldiers, their widows + orphans, with leave to report by bill or otherwise. The order having passed in the Senate, came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.
