[Message of Gov.] [jurisdiction of Dennets Island] Message from the Governor. To the Senate & House of Representatives I have received from the Secretary of the Navy of the United States a communication relating to the jurisdiction over Dennets Island on the east side of Piscataqua river in this State which I have directed to be laid before you. As that Island now belongs to the United States and is the site of a very important navy yard it may not be deemed unreasonable that the United States should have jurisdiction over it, so far as relates to the punishment of offences against the national authority.
