Ordered that Messrs Smith, Cobb, Burr, Parker, Hill, Chase, Butterfield, Parlin & Patten be a committee to take into consideration the 8th article of the Rules & orders for the government of this House & report what alteration ought to be made therein - read & passed.

The committee on engrossed " Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolves, on the petition of John Lowell administrator of John Lowell - on the petition of Parker Noyes - authorizing the town of Frankfort to raise money for certain purposes - on the petition of Jesse Page - confirming the doings of the town of Cornish - making valid the marriage of George Smith - confirming the doings of the town of Newry - for the relief of the town of Minot - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
