Mr Hobson moved a reconsideration of the vote of this House of 24th inst. concurring the Senate in accepting the report on the petition of Buxton & tomorrow at 10 oclock was assigned to consider the motion.

Petition of Samuel Gray & als for a law depriving the Proprietors of Cathance Bridge of their Charter - was read and referred to the committee on Turnpikes, bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered that Messrs Goodenow of Alfred, Jones of Fairfield and Webber of Lovell be a committee to enquire as to the expediency of altering or repealing so much of an act regulating the admission of Attornies and authorizing particular persons in certain cases to prosecute and defend suits at Law, as requires as a qualification to be admitted to practise as an Attorney in any Court of Justice in this State two years study with some Counsellor at Law in this State, with leave to report by Bill &c. - read & passed.

Bill for the benefit of Waterville College, was amended by striking out the words "fifteen hundred" & inserting "one thousand" & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Isaac Ilsley that the jurisdiction of certain sites for Lighthouses may be ceded to the United States was read & referred to Messrs Spring off Saco, McCobb of Phipsburg & Eaton of Milburn.

Petition of Benjamin Woodbury & als inhabitants of Buckfield to be annexed to Paris was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence.
