The Court unanimously report their opinion that Lt. Col. Vairck's conduct with respect to the case speculations and treasonable practices of the late Gen'l Arnold is not only unimpeachable but thinks him entitled (throughout every part of his conduct) to a degree of merit that does him great Honour, as an Officer and particularly distinguishes him as a sincere friend to his Country.
The General Court Martial whereof Col. Bailey is President is dissolved.
