Mr. Bond from the committee appointed to receive & examine the returns of votes for Senators from the several towns & plantations in this State, and to report who appear to be elected, what vacancies exist, and who are the constitutional candidates to fill the same.

reported, That in the county of York the whole number of votes given & returned according to the provisions of the Constitution is 2236 necessary to constitute an election 1119 Mark Dennett Esq. has 1482 & is elected John McDonald Esq. has 1553 & is elected Ellis B.
