Mr Fessenden from the Committee to wait on the Governor and inform him the two branches are proceeding on public business and ready to receive any communication he may be pleased to make to them, reported that the Governor would forthwith make a written communication to both branches of the Legislature.

was read ordered to lie on the table and the Clerk directed to procure 400 copies thereof to be printed for the use of the members.

William Weymouth Esqr of Berwick, appeared, presented his credentials and took his seat as a member, having first been qualified before the Governor & Council.

The Annual report of the state of the Treasury for the year 1825 was received, accompanied by the letter of the Treasurer, read and ordered to lie on the table.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of State to notify Samuel M Pond, that he has been duly elected by a Convention of both Houses a Senator for the County of Hancock and requesting him to take his seat forthwith, and the House concurred.
