Resolve additional to a Resolve for the payment of account against the State, Resolve for the payment of the engrossing Clerks and other persons,

[Resolves passed]

Resolve making appropriation for State printing, Resolve granting compensation to the Chaplains of the Senate and House of Representatives , and Resolves additional to a Resolve for the payment of accounts against the State; and they were severally passed.-

Resolve on the Pay Roll of the Senate was read twice and passed to be engrossed : sent down for concurrence : came up concurred.-

[Messages]

A message was received from the House informing that they had amended the engrossed "Bill additional to an act to organize, govern and discipline the militia," by striking out the fifth section thereof; and requesting the concurrence of the Senate:" The Senate nonconcur the House in the said amendment: - and a message was sent down to inform them of the same.-

[Resolves]

Resolve for laying a tax on the several Counties came up, and the House adhere to their vote by which they passed the same to be engrossed: and the Senate insist upon their vote whereby they refused the Resolve a passage in the former draft, and send down the two new Resolves for concurrence.-
