The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment
Mr. Green, from the Committee reported Bill additional to "An Act to regulate the manufacture and inspection of Stone Lime and Lime Casks and the same was read a second time and passage refused. Sent down for concurrence Came up concurred.
Bill granting a Lottery for the benefit of primary schools in this State came up indefinitely postponed, and the Senate refused a concurrence in postponing this Bill and adhere to their former vote passing this Bill to be engrossed, Sent down.
Report of the Committee on the Judiciary to whom was committed the "Resolve regulating the Governor to make application for the services of a Topographical Engineer" that the same be referred to the next Legislature accepted in the House came up for concurrence and the Senate concurred.
Bill additional to "An Act respecting judicial process and proceedings" came up with a proportion for a conference the House having appointed Messrs Fessenden, Longfellow and Clark conferees; the Senate accede to the proposition and on their part appoint Messrs Stebbins, Churchill and Southwick,
Bill additional to the several Acts now in force respecting Highways came up the House having adhered to their former vote, and now the Senate adhere to their vote passing this Bill to be engrossed
