Ordered That Messrs Fillebrown of Wintrop, Folsom of Eastport & Chase of Kittery be a committee with such as the Senate may join to receive sealed proposals from the several Printers, which proposals shall be held entire by said committee until the second day of February next, after which time said proposals shall be opened and examined by said committee who are authorized to contract to have all the printing done as to them shall appear most for the advantage and interest of the State - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Hyde of Bath

     Ordered, That the joint standing committee on the Judiciary be directed to take into consideration the expediency of authorizing the town of Bath to assess a tax on the owners of dogs in conformity to a law passed Feb 26 1825 giving that power to the town of Portland - read and passed - Sent up for concurrence-
