Bill in addition to an act additional to an act to regulate the taking of Salmon, Shad and Alewives in the town of Machias passed the tenth of February 1826 - refused a passage in this House the 27th inst, came from the Senate, that body adhering to their vote passing the Bill to engrossed - and the House referred the same to Messrs Shaw of Wiscasset, Sylvester of Harpswell & Easton of Winslow.

Petitions of Lunther Libby of Gorham that all his farm may be annexed to said town- - of Hallowell & Windsor for authority to erect an Almshouse were severally read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence-

Petition of Jonah Dunn to be paid for certain services stated by him, was read & referred to the committee on so much of the Governors Speech as relates to the North Eastern Boundary Sent up for concurrence.

Mr Appleton of Alfred was appointed on the committee on so much of the Governors Speech as relates to the Tariff in the room of Mr Holmes who resigned his seat as a member of this House.

Bill establishing Bowdoin Academy - was read a second time and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.
