"Office of Secretary of State Portland February 9th 1850 Sir, I have the honor to transmit herewith a copy of the return of the Sheriffs fees by the Treasurer of Kennebec County, which should have been communicated to the House of Representatives, with similar returns from other Counties this morning, but was accidentally mislaid. I am sir respect fully your most obedient Servant.
"Hon Speaker of the House of Representatives. (signed) Edward Russell, Sec of State" which was read & referred to Messts Pond of Bucksport, Smith of Nobleboro and Shapleigh of Berwick with such as the Senate may join - Sent up for concurrence.
