Mr. Bartlett of Kingfield has leave of absence after today during the remainder of the session.

Resolve to distribute Greenleaf's Maps & Statistical View of Maine was read once & tomorrow at 11 o'clock assigned for a 2d reading.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill an additional act regulating Divorces. - in favor of the settlers on Townships numbered Ten & Eleven -

- to change the name of the first Evangelical Congregational Church and Society in Eastport - 
- additional act to incorporate the Proprietors of Canton Point Bridge 

which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Resolve - directing the Land Agent to inquire into & report upon the expediency of granting aid for making a Road, in Penobscot County -

- in favor of William Pike

- granting a pension to David Sevey which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for the admission of Roscoe G. Greene to practice Law in the Court of Common Pleas and for other purposes was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
