[Bill respecting Clerks of Courts] Bill additional to an Act respecting the appointment of Clerks of the Judicial Courts was read once and this day at 1/2 past 12 assigned for a second reading;

[Pet for Hutchinson taken from files] On motion by Mr. French the petition of Joseph Hutchinson and others was taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of towns. Sent down for concurrence.

[Order respecting a toll bridge in Hebron} Order of the House of Representatives that the Committee on Turnpikes &c be instructed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the town of Hebron to demand & receive toll of persons passing the bridge on the new road in said town over the Little Androscoggin River with with leave to with leave to report by bill or otherwise was read and passed in concurrence.

[Bill referred] Bill to incorporate the Waterville Fire Insurance Company came from the3 House referred to the Committee on Banks &c for concurrence and the Senate concurred.

[Bill to set off Amos Hills & als from Newry to Bethel] Mr. Gardner from the Committee on Incorporation of towns on their petition reported Bill to set off Amos Hills and Luther Eames from Newry to Bethel was read once and 12 oclock this day assigned for a second reading.

[Bill passed to be engrossed] Bill to incorporate the Maine Manufacturing company for the encouragement and improvement of machinery and colouring and dressing cloth came up amended for concurrence and the Senate concurred with the House in passing the Bill to be engrossed as amended.
