Gardner, Meqquier and Davee was appointed to receive, sort and count the votes for a Secretary the Committee having attended to that service reported; That the whole number of votes was - "Sixteen;" Necessary to a choice ---- "Nine" That John A. Chandler had --- Eight "- Carleton Dole ---- Eight No Choice.
