[1825 January 21.]

Mr. Green from the Committee on Petition of Reuben Tourtlott and others, reported that they have leave to withdraw their petition: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.

Mr. Green then gave notice that he should on monday next at 10 O clock, move the reconsideration of the vote whereby the Senate passed to be engrossed the Resolve in aid of the Gardiner Lyceum. The number of the members present, at the passage, was 20.

Mr. Dunlap from the Committee to whom was referred the Resolves relating to General Lafayette, reported the same with an amendment which was adopted, and they were then unanimously passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Bill]

Mr. Scamman from the Committee to whom was referred the Bill to exempt from taxation manufacturing Companies of Cotton and wool, reported the same with amendments, which were adopted, and the Bill was then passed to be engrossed and sent down for concurrence.

Mr. Whitney from the Committee on petition of the Trustees of the Ministerial funds in Dixmont, reported that they have leave to withdraw their Petition Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, & came up concurred.
