vote of the 21st inst, as to amend the same agreeably to the report of the Conferees on the part of the House & pass the Bill to be engrossed as thus amended. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - ceding to the United States the jurisdiction of a certain tract of land in the town of Cape Elizabeth, laid on the table by Mr Swan of Portland, was read 1st 2d & 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Resolve relating to the settlement of the Accounts of the Agent of the Penobscot Tribe of Indians, was read 1st & 2d time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
Ordered that the Committee on the Pay Roll be instructed so far to amend the Pay Roll as to allow the member from Howland one hundred & eighty miles travel instead of one hundred and sixty five - read & passed.

Bill - an additional Act to secure to owners their property in Logs, Masts, Spars & other timber in the Schoodic & St Croix Rivers came from the Senate, that body adhering to their vote refusing the Bill a passage - The House referred the subject to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.
Resolve providing compensation for certain officers, was read 1st & 2nd time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
