A communication was received from the Revd Ichabod Nichols, D.D. signifying his resignation of the office of of Chaplain of the Senate in consequence of his previous acceptance of the same office in the House of Representatives [Communication from Rev I Nichols resigning the office of Chaplain]
Mr. Miller from the committee on Parishes &c on the petition of William Quint and others reported, Bill to set off a tract of land from Emden to Anson.
