Resolve for establishing a new Representative District in the County of Washington, was read a second time & refused a passage.

Resolve relative to the State Road North of the Bingham Purchase, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - establishing the Salary of the Governor was taken up and the House concurred in refusing the Bill a passage.

Bill - respecting Backcove Bridge, was read a second time & indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence -

Bill - respecting Gun Houses, was taken up and the House receeded from their vote indefinitely postponing the same & referred the Bill to Messrs Alden of Brunswick, Evans of Gardiner & Houdlette of Dresden.

Bill - an additional act for securing to owners their property in logs, masts, spars & other timber in certain cases -was reported with sundry amendments which were adopted, and passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked A. Sent up for concurrence.

The engrossed Resolve establishing the seat of Government was reported by the Committee on engrossed Bills as duly engrossed, and the House assigned tomorrow at 1/2 past ten oclock to consider the same.
