Mr Kingsbury, from - The Select Committee appointed on the 28th January 1830 "to mange and prepare to be recorded the proceedings of the Senate up to the time a Secretary pro tem was elected, that the same may be recorded by the Secretary" reported the proceeding of the Senate to Wednesday, 13" January 1830, as follow; viz:
Portland January 6" 1830 - This being the day designated by the Constitution of this State for the meeting of the Legislature, the following gentlemen having been elected Senators by the people and summoned by the acting governor and the Council appeared in the Senate Chamber, viz:
