Resolve authorizing the Governor & Council to cause a gun house to be erected in Bath came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence and the House recede from their former vote on this subject & concur with the Senate.

Ordered that the committee on Finance be directed to assess the sum of Fifty one Thousand Eight hundred and Fifty three Dollars & Eighty four cents on the polls & Estates in the several towns and plantations in this State as reported by the Committee on the State Valuation - and Mr. Stevens of Lincolnville moved to reconsider the vote whereby said order was passed and the question upon the reconsideration thereof was taken by yeas & nays as follows yeas 45 Nays 72 (for yeas & nays see page 494)

Bill respecting Colleges came from the Senate passed to be engrossed as amended o sheet annexed marked A for concurrence - and the House reconsider their former votes in relation to this Bill adopt the last amendment of the Senate & pass the Bill to be Engrossed as thus amended in concurrence.
