Report of the Committee on Literary Institutions to whom was referred an order of January 26th respecting the education of youth without the limits of incorporated towns & organized plantations that legislation on the subject is not expedient was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.
The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly Engrossed Resolve establishing a Valuation for the State of Maine
concerning a more perfect organization of the Militia
providing compensation for the Chaplains of the Legislature
which were severally finally passed.
The same Committee also report as duly engrossed - Bill to secure to owners their property in Masts Logs Spars & other timber which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
